Tennessee Titans vs Los Angeles Chargers live score: Highlights, stats, TV channel
The Tennessee Titans' second-half struggles continued on Sunday in the 27-17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

Justin Herbert had a passing and rushing touchdown, including a 16-yard touchdown pass to Quentin Johnston in the third quarter.
The Titans offense scored on the opening drive via a Calvin Ridley 42-yard touchdown catch, but otherwise ebbed and flowed against the tough Chargers defense.

NFL VP of instant replay Mark Butterworth, in a pool report, said Sunday that replay showed clear evidence that Justin Herbert's hand was going forward with control of the ball on the overturned fumble return touchdown late in the first half.
Butterworth said that an enhanced view of the play showed Herbert had clear control of the ball with the hand going forward before losing the ball.
"We were going through angles and there was an enhanced view from broadcast that we could see the hand coming forward," Butterworth said. "Again, we're going frame-by-frame, and the hand was going forward with control of the ball and then he lost control of the ball."

Will Levis threw his second TD of the day, and Calvin Ridley caught his second TD of the day on a 15-yard catch in the final minute. But Levis' solid overall day won't brighten up the overall team performance too much. Chargers 27, Titans 17.
Tennessee moves to 2-7 on the season, with games against 7-2 Minnesota, 6-3 Houston and 7-3 Washington in the next three weeks.
Stats and comments from Brian Callahan and players to come.
To continue this year's theme of former Titans playing against their former team, Hassan Haskins dives over the top of the pile on the 1-yard line for the game-sealing touchdown. Haskins was a fourth-round pick in the 2022 draft by the Titans.
Titans defense, which continues to rank well in a lot of team defensive stats, has not been very good in the second half. Chargers up to 144 rushing yards.
After a Will Levis pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for a first down gain, the Titans OL falters. Tuli Tuipulotu sacks Levis for the second time today, and Joey Bosa gets his first sack of the game two plays later.
Tennessee will punt early in the fourth quarter. The Titans' chances are slipping away.
After a Derius Davis 56-yard kickoff return, the Chargers orchestrate a TD drive to take control. Justin Herbert finds Quentin Johnston for a 16-yard touchdown pass with little pass rush to speak of for the Titans defensive line.
PAT good. LA is up 20-10.
Will Levis completes passes for first downs to Calvin Ridley, Chig Okonkwo and Tony Pollard, but the drive stalls in the red zone after a third down jumpball to Josh Whyle falls incomplete. A 7-minute drive ends with a Nick Folk 27-yard field goal.
Titans defense needs a turnover, and for it to stand this time.
Jeffery Simmons strips Justin Herbert, and the ball is out. Roger McCreary picks up the ball and returns it for a touchdown.
The replay booth initiates a review, and after a lengthy review the call is overturned. Replay review judged that Herbert's hand was going forward with control. That's debatable at best, and certainly not indisputable to this observer.
On 4th and 1 inside the Titans' 5, the Chargers call a designed QB run for Justin Herbert, and he makes the cutback to score on a 4-yard TD run.
The LA drive was keyed by a flea flicker completion to Josh Palmer for 36 yards on the first play of the possession.
The Titans offense drives into Chargers territory after a Nick Westbrook-Ikhine catch for a first down and a Tyjae Spears 10-yard run on a play that could have been a Chargers TFL. Nick Folk's 49-yard field goal attempt, though, slides wide right with 6:19 left in the first half. Folk had made 20 field goals in a row before that miss.
Titans have 61 rushing yards on 8 carries so far. Tony Pollard was getting his leg checked on the bench after getting tackled early in the drive, but he returned to the game a few snaps later.
Cameron Dicker caps off a Chargers drive aided by two Titans defensive penalties with a 35-yard field goal. Titans continue to lead.
Titans defense has been solid so far on third down, as the Chargers are 1-4 on third down conversions.
The Titans offense is alive! Will Levis sets up for a deep ball, and he finds Calvin Ridley on a post route for the 42-yard touchdown pass.
Levis looked a lot more comfortable in that first drive against a stingy Chargers defense. Ridley had two big catches on the drive, including a 10-yard catch and run on a WR screen. Levis also had a 12-yard run.
It's Levis' longest completion this season.
A near-seven minute Chargers opening drive ends with a Titans stand in goal-to-go, with Justin Herbert sliding down short of the goal line on 3rd and goal from the Titans' 5. Cameron Dicker's 21-yard field goal is good. Will Levis, you're up.
Without mentioning the words "Titans" and "playoffs" in the same phrase, the AFC South continues to struggle in non-divisional games. Jacksonville, with backup QB Mac Jones, loses 12-7 at home to Minnesota. Indianapolis loses 30-20 to Buffalo at Lucas Oil Stadium, with Joe Flacco tossing three interceptions.
Houston plays Detroit on Sunday Night Football later today. As for the Titans, kickoff is upcoming.

Titans beat reporter Nick Suss' prediction: Titans 17, Chargers 14
Look: The Chargers' record is what it is because they've beaten up on terrible teams. They outscored the Raiders, Panthers, Saints and Browns 101-31. So, on one hand, this team almost certainly isn't as good as its record. On the other hand, it's hard to distance the Titans from the Raiders, Panthers, Saints and Browns of the world. The Titans' and Chargers' stylistic similarities play to Tennessee's favor here, so there's reason to think this stays close. But this feels like a real toss-up.
Inactives will be announced at 1:35 p.m. CT on Sunday. For now, here's the full injury report for the two teams heading into the game.
