Electrical cables close lanes on I-11 northbound near Lake Mead

Two far-right travel lanes on I-11 northbound, just south of Lake Mead Boulevard, are closed due to electrical cables hanging from the bottom of the Valley Drive Overpass.

The Nevada Department of Transportation is on the way with a bucket truck to address the hazard.

Officials have not determined how long the lanes will remain closed and advise drivers to avoid the area.
